Two For One Badu {Video/Review}
This is a two for one post. Below are the official videos for Erykah Badu’s newly released “Window Seat,” “Jump In The Air” feat. Lil Wayne, which was released a few weeks ago.
At the beginning of the video for “Window Seat” Badu pays homage to her visual inspiration to Matt and Kim’s “Lesson Learned,” but frankly, her version confused me.
The video fell somewhere between Matt and Kim’s original and Kanye West’s “Flashing Lights.” I was actually hoping that the video teaser would have something more to do with the actual video, though to be honest, I have no idea how that would’ve worked either.
Still buying the album.
And to put out there for all to hear, you can disagree with a persons choices without abandoning them. Feel free to be a fan! I know I will.

Corinne Bailey Rae “I’d Do It All Again” [official video]

It seems as though all of my favorites are coming back. 2010 will be a good music year for me. “I’d Do It All Again” premiered on MYSPACE and is the first single from her forthcoming album The Sea dropping early next year.
Raphael Saadiq “Let’s Take A Walk”

Raphael Saadiq has done it again. He is consistently walking the tight rope that is neo and retro soul, balancing each artistic endeavor every step of the way. Saadiq’s lastest video is for his new single “Let’s Take A Walk”.
Watch the “Let’s Take A Walk” after the jump.
